Vacation Bible School Growing the Fruits of the Spirit JULY 20 - 24, 2008

YOUTH FUNDRAISER
During the month of July the youth will be having a Jo Corbi fund raiser.  Items to be sold are frozen and include pizza kits (including regular and dessert pizzas), pretzels, calzones, quesos, cookie dough and cinnamon rolls.  They are all delicious!  Delivery will be in August.  Please help support the youth, and at the same time fill your freezer!  See any youth or youth leader to order.  Thanks for your participation!

SOJOURNERS ACTIVITIES
Tuesday, Jully 15th:  Trip to Whirling Waters Water Park in North Charleston.  The bus will leave the church at 8:15am and will return around 4:30pm.  It is buy one get one free for park admission.  The cost for admission, gas, and afternoon snack is $13.00 (under 48") and $15.00 (over 48").  You will also need $5-10 for lunch.  Drinks and snacks will be provided on the bus when we leave the park.  Sign-up by July 13th on the bulletin board by Tara's office.

Friday - Saturday, August 22 - 23: One-Night Retreat at Camp Kinard.  Cost:  $20.00 - sign-up by July 27th on the bulletin board by Tara's office.

YOUNG AT HEART ACTIVITIES
On July 16th the Young at Heart will be going to the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, NC.  The bus will leave the church at 8:00am.  Lunch will be at the Cracker Barrel (Dutch Treat) after the visit.
