The annual walk for "steps against breast cancer" is Saturday October 3, 2009, at Finley Park. The walk is to raise awareness about and funds for research of breast cancer, especially Palmetto Health Breast Cancer Center. Mt. Hermon’s Cancer Survivors team welcomes all who would like to join. Last year there were 25 people on our team. The cost of registration is $25 which includes a T shirt with an original design and the Mt. Hermon logo, meeting at Finley Park and refreshments at the end of the walk. Please see Doris Carver or Dot Mathias for details and a registration form. Deadline for registration is September 6, 2009.
